Who knew the DOLLAR STORE had beauty products that I would actually buy? Then again, how different is it from buying beauty products at the local beauty supply store?
Anyway, to my surprise the Dollar Store had the brand LA Colors, Wet ‘N Wild and Aziza so I decided to press my luck with some of the products that I found pretty!
LA Colors Lipstick in Cocoa Shimmer
I actually really like this lippie! It’s more of a neutral than anything and is a beautiful shade of brown. I can see some flecks of gold in there, but it’s not shimmery if you know what I mean. It’s a nice balance. I’m going to try to wear it out soon.
Wet N Wild Beauty Benefits Ultimate Cover Foundation
I took a gamble here, but for a buck I’m not really stressing it. I tried this foundation out and it doesn’t have the best coverage (too sheer). I wouldn’t repurchase this at all! I just have this feeling it might break me out, man…
Aziza Blush in Desert
I remember this stuff from back in the day! I picked up the color Desert and I LOVE IT! It’s got a matte finish, nothing shimmery like that ELF Blush in Fuchsia Fusion I picked up a while back, and has excellent color payoff. I’ll probably go back soon to see what other colors I can find.
I am also interested in looking into some of the eye shadow palettes upon my next return, not that I NEED anything but looking never hurt anybody! #twistedlogic But you know what I REALLY need to do? Get back on my Zuzu Luxe kick! That was some of the best makeup I’ve ever owned AND it doesn’t contain all that extra chemical nonsense.
