Navy Smokey Eye Tutorial

These past two weeks, I have had the honor of witnessing two couples tie the knot!!! I was sooooooooooo excited to be a part of their day, so much so I wanted to make sure that I was on my “A” game – I’m talking hair laid, face slayed, and outfit ON POINT, honey!  I wanted to do this all while keeping the integrity of my new beauty routine of using only natural and organic beauty products.

Though I have used a good amount of products in the past that were natural and organic, I have never completed a FULL FACE using only those products (although this look was pretty close to a full face look).  All of that was about to change and I would lie if I said I wasn’t nervous about the outcome.  I didn’t even THINK to do a practice run before I committed to it which probably would have eased some of my anxieties now that I think about it.

Nonetheless, I used only those products – nothing more, nothing less and fell completely in love with the look (hence why I created a navy smokey eye tutorial for you):

I loved this look so much, I recreated a variation of it for another wedding the next weekend AND for a video tutorial so that I could share it with you guys!  Talk about perfecting your craft!

For my face (which isn’t shown in the video) I used my Zuzu Luxe along with a new mineral foundation & concealer I purchased from bare Minerals – would you all like a video on the face?  I’ll film that soon!

As you can tell from the video, I purchased some new products from bare Minerals and received some products from Mineral Fusion.  I’ll touch more on those in a future post and give my full review on those just as I did the other natural and organic products I’ve purchased in the past.  Seemingly, it isn’t easy to find natural and organic beauty products for brown beauties, but I think I might just have my holy grail products now and that makes me extremely happy.

Oh! and by switching from what I used to use to these products now, my skin has made leaps and bounds!  I still have acne prone, yes, but the frequency and intensity of my breakouts has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY!  I am almost certain it has a lot to do with what products I am using on my skin.  I don’t like to speak too quickly on these matters as I like to take my time to see if that is really what I can attribute to my decline in breakouts, but since I have fully converted over to natural and organic beauty products I can totally see a difference (and yes, I am also still using my Spin for Perfect Skinclick here and enter code “spin4proy” for 70% you purchase — from $100 to $30).

Hope you all give this look a try! Tag me if you do – I’d love to see it!
