Pizza + Running = Bomb Body!

Running does a body good, but apparently so does pizza?  I’m not really asking though my inflection went up when I said that hence the question mark *digress*…

Anyway, 11 days ago I posted the following on Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr:

“September 30, 2014 I looked into the mirror and was completely fed up. I was so fed up I asked my husband to take a picture of me and told him I was gonna make a change starting that day. I got off my ass and did something about it. Yep, there were days where I skipped out and mentally checked out, but when I took that middle pic exactly two months later I could see the change. I knew what I was doing was paying off. I saw with my own two eyes that commitment and consistency yields results.

Listen: I’m a girl who loves pizza and I just want to eat pizza and enjoy my life without the extra weight. Running has afforded me that opportunity.

I said all of that to say if you’re fed up and still wanna eat pizza, go do something about it. You ain’t gotta be the fastest runner out there but you have to be committed. That’s all I’m saying. Still debating on whether or not I wanna start working on abs … Hmmmm pizza or abs … #decisions #runforyourlife#runforpizza #pizzaforpresident#tookittoofarwiththatlastone #halfmarathontraining#nobuttnotits #dontlikebrasorundiessoitsfine

ETA: This is just from running! I know weight training will also tone you and all that jazz, but I was committed to running only. I also do yoga for stretching, flexibility, and “me time” but this is majority what running did for me.”

I had a few questions come in pertaining to the actual process and almost dedicated a ton of my time to typing out personal essays answers to every. single. person.  Then, I saw that the questions were redundant and it dawned on me to put everything into this here video:

While I love pizza, I do believe in developing healthy eating habits (meal prepping really helps with that along with controlling your serving sizes) and exercising regularly.  Remember to hold your body down and it will surely hold you up.

What exercises have you noticed do great things for your body?
