Paris - Day Five - Paintings & Perverts

The Lourve – The entrance is the large pyramid, then you head underground.

We passed by the Louvre on days two and three, but it wasn’t until today that we decided to take a visit. We approached the museum and witnessed a line that wrapped around the outside from the main gate court all the way around to the entrance pyramid. Being a spoiled brat when it comes to lines (thanks Herc and Newt), I flashed my VIP pass and guess what? We walked right in. #pow

Upon entering, we were overwhelmed by the the view. We grabbed a map and decided to visit the Denton wing first. Let me just insert a precautionary warning for anyone that wants to visit Paris: get plenty of rest and wear comfortable shoes. We walked I know at least 7 miles today in the museum alone. Every wing was different, yet the art pretty much depicted the same things seemingly. The coolest wing? Sully. It focused on Egyptian art. I also liked looking at the furniture in the Richeau wing… talk about FANCY.

A lot of the paintings and sculptures were of people, and many of these people were nude. In comes the perverted thoughts, and you know what? Sue me. It was too funny making up captions for these paintings and sculptures. Here are some of our favorite ones:
